This was shot in a large studio but if I had to, I could shoot it in my home studio too. The subject in this photo decided to bring a fur coat to the shoot, so I made use of it. Sepia toned photos are just like black and white ones in that they are monocrhomatic. In the digital world we shoot them in colour, then convert them to black and white, often in several stages, and then add the sepia tones last. The process is time consuming in but the allure is beautiful.
