This photo was shot on location on one of the hottest days of the year. I decided to shoot the photo in a way that suggested the heat by placing one flash-head with a golden amber filter over it outside the window and another filtered light inside the room for fill light using a honeycomb grid to control the light. Then I warmed it up a bit more in Photoshop and the end result was this sizzling and moody image that suggests an early evening light on a hot summer day.
